These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Nomos application (“Nomos”, “the app”). By using the app you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Nomos is a personal AI assistant operated by Ignacio Delgado as a personal project. It is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. The app is currently in early development; features may change, break, or be removed without notice.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use Nomos. By connecting your Google Account, you confirm that the account is yours and that you have the right to grant the app access to its data.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Nomos to:

  • violate any applicable law;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the backend or other users’ data;
  • abuse the service in a way that disrupts its operation (for example, automated traffic that exceeds reasonable use);
  • use the service to harass others, send spam, or distribute malware.

4. Your content and data

You retain all rights to the content you provide to Nomos (notes, chat messages, voice recordings, calendar data). You grant the app a limited licence to process this content solely to provide the features you have requested, as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Third-party services

Nomos integrates with Google Calendar, Groq, DeepInfra, and Brave Search. Your use of those services through the app is also governed by their respective terms of service. The developer is not responsible for the availability or behaviour of those services.

6. AI-generated content

Nomos’s responses are generated by large language models. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Do not rely on them for legal, medical, financial, or any other professional advice. The developer is not responsible for decisions you make based on the assistant’s output. Always verify important facts independently.

7. Service availability

The app is provided on a best-effort basis. There is no uptime guarantee. The service may be discontinued at any time, with or without notice. The developer will make reasonable effort to give users notice and an opportunity to export their data before any permanent shutdown.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data, calendar mishaps, missed events, or reliance on incorrect AI output. The developer’s total liability for any direct damages is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim, which for users on the free tier is zero.

9. Termination

You can stop using Nomos at any time and revoke its access to your Google Account at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. The developer may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms.

10. Changes

These Terms may be updated. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
